More than one family member has reported that Eloise was not a very pleasant older lady. She lived with her son Harry Eugene for quite some time, (around the early 1960's starting in Atlanta, GA. It's been said that she worked cleaning and in restaurants and that she would bring home leftovers for the kids to eat. My great grandather's brother, Junius Wayne ANDERSON b. in Washington Co., IA., d. in Los Angeles, CA. was a L.A. police officer and married Dell GIBSON, Hoot's mother. I have been looking up info on Hoot hoping to find some dates for Junie. Surprisingly, all of the articles I've read do not mention her.
