Buried in the Old Blanket Springs Cemetery, on a privately owned ranch (called the Smith Ranch). Son of Thomas Jefferson Forsythe and Nancy Jane Herral. Married Elizabeth Jane Vann, they had twelve children. The Forsythe family came to Ellis County, Texas in 1843. About 1867 Robert and his brother went to Brown County, Texas and built a store at Williams Ranch, Brown County, Texas. |
