Marshall, Ill. - Laufman Forsythe, 74, of Marshall, died at 12:45 a.m. this morning at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall with the Rev. George Nika officiating. Burial will follow in Forsythe Cemetery in Marshall. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Forsythe was born Oct. 16, 1914 in Clark County, the son of Ben and Ruth Etta Laufman Forsythe.
Survivors include one son, Jack Forsythe, of Marshall; two daughters, Kay Whitlock of Terre Haute and Valerie Cornwell of Fresno, CA; one sister, Mary Harrison, of Marshall; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.
Formerly a safety inspector for the state of Illinois, Mr. Forsythe had also formerly owned and operated a poultry business in Marshall for 30 years.
Frank's death certificate indicates that he was divorced at the time of his death. rf
