Glenn Hester 88, of Boca Raton, Florida and formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, died peacefully on May, 5, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty, daughter Susan (Robert) Malt of Asheville, NC, and four beloved grandchildren. After a brief stint in the Navy at the end of WWII, he attended and graduated from the University of Dayton. He and his wife lived in their adopted hometown of Indianapolis for over twenty years, where he was president of the Essex Hotel Corporation, served on several boards, and was active in numerous civic organizations. After moving to Boca Raton in the early 70s he continued to work in real estate and land development and was an avid freshwater fisherman. A brief ceremony will be held at Boca Raton Cemetery prior to internment on May 9, 2016 at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
