Mayzell Johnson Crawford Birthplace: West Virginia Mrs. Mayzell Johnson Crawford, 71, of 122 W. 17th St, Owensboro, died Thursday, April 12, 2001 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. A native of West Virginia, she was an United Methodist and former owner of the Kentucky Pottery Shop in Owensboro. She was preceded in death by a son, John C. Crawford, III, in 1986. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John C. Crawford, Jr., a son, George Crawford of Evansville, three daughters, Sheila Courtney of Beulaville, NC, Julie Forrester of Owensboro, and Aleta Elder of Utica, five grandchildren, two brothers, Bill Johnson of Chicago and Richard Johnson of Rio Rancho, NM, four sisters, Norma Jacunski of Chicago, and Jan Forsythe, Joan Masterson and Patsy Rowan all of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 14, 2001 at the Christ Chapel of Owensboro Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. |
