"Ohpia or as we called her Ophie, married name was Poindexter. Ophie had one son they named Forsythe Poindexter and they called "Cy". Cy lived lived in L.A. and later Ophie move out there to take care of Cy's handicapped son. Mom believes Cy's sonwas born with a similar birth defect as Tim Preston and Cy's son only lived to be approximately 12 years old.

Mom lost track of Oro soon after Valerie was born in 1952 but our family stayed in contact with Ophie and saw her many times throughout the years and we believed she died around age 88 or so. Any just a side, Ophie lived on black strap molasses and meat. Never ate a vegetable and was a very fun lady and a real kick in the pants. When she was in her 80's she told my dad, Jerry Tomlin, that she didn't wear any underwear. Her best friend was Mary Drumm and the two of them drive to the mountains and a case of beer and drink all weekend. The highlight of her life was that she got to dance with Lawrence Welk on TV"
