Note	William D. Johnson, 83, of Portage, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Bill was born Aug. 8, 1932, in Drakesboro, Kentucky, the son of John and Orean (Hines) Johnson. Bill was a business owner, including Newley’s Pub restaurant and EDS in Naperville, Illinois. He married Susan Harmon on Jan. 26, 1985, in Naperville. He is survived by his wife, Susan Johnson of the town of Douglas; his daughter, Sara (Luke) Bryant residing in Germany; his son, Ryan Johnson of Virginia; and his brother, Richard (JoAnn) Johnson of Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. Memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage. Internment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association
